Bio

Dean Herman came to Bryant & Stratton College in the fall of 2018 where he took on the role of the head softball coach and Athletic Operations Coordinator. 

Prior to Bryant & Stratton, Herman served as the Varsity Head Softball coach for Johnson Creek High School, compiling a record of 78 wins and 25 loses in four years. Johnson Creek qualified for sectionals three out of those four years.

Herman founded the Johnson Creek Yellowjackets travel softball club that offers high level competitive softball to girls with teams at the 8U thru 18U levels.  In 2017, the Yellowjackets finished seventh at NAFA Nationals out of 84 teams.

As a player, Hermaned competed on the Edgewood College baseball team during undergrad and served as an assistant coach for the softball team at Edgewood two years after graduation.

Herman graduated with a degree in Business/Marketing.

He currently resides in Johnson Creek with his wife Melissa and four children – Jazmin, Brandon, Bella and Tanner.
