MILWAUKEE, Wis. (October 24th, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College-Wauwatosa can officially enroll international students starting in the fall 2017 semester.
Bryant & Stratton's Wauwatosa campus may enroll students internationally for academics or as student athletes. International students must have a valid F-1 visa as part of the enrollment process.
"Enrolling internationally definitely diversifies the college greatly," Bryant & Stratton College-Wauwatosa's Athletic Director, Greg Brandner, said. "Our coaches already have athletes on their rosters from other countries, which is really exciting to see."
The Baseball team currently has two athletes Kyle Taran and Peyton Tisi, who joined the Bryant & Stratton College family from Canada. The men's basketball team has one athlete, Luka Kristijan, from Croatia. A men's basketball assistant coach Marko Lazarevic, who also takes classes at Bryant & Stratton, is from Serbia.
"Giving our coaches the ability to recruit athletes from other countries was the first step but now we want to look at how to pursue international students just for academics," Brandner said.
The Bobcats coaching staff will continue to pursue talented athletes internationally as a way to build competitive teams each year.
