Bobcats Dominate in Exhibition at Fiserv Forum
This Thursday, the Bobcats took on Carthage College's JV team in an exhibition match hosted at Fiserv Forum, the home of the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bobcats defeated the Red Men 93-51 in convincing fashion at one of the most revered sports venues in Wisconsin.
Guard Khaleb WIlson-Rhouse led the way for the Bobcats. Khaleb shot an incredible 9-10 on the night, culminating in 27 points for the guard. He also tacked on 3 rebounds, an assist, a steal, and a block in the convincing victory.
Luke Taylor also had an impressive night, shooting 5-6 with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. The main story for the Bobcat stars, as well as in the game overall, was the field goal percentage. The Bobcats shot 33-64 from the field, at a manageable 51.6% clip. However, the Bobcat defense held the Red Men to just 19-71, or 26.8%, and essentially smothered every shot the Red Men attempted.
This exhibition match was an incredible opportunity for the Bobcat men. They got the chance to play against great Division III competition in the best venue in Wisconsin, and this dominant win could be a preview of what's to come.
