BUDDY GENTRY NAMED HEAD MEN'S SOCCER COACH AT BRYANT & STRATTON COLLEGE

WAUWATOSA, WI – Aron "Buddy" Gentry has been named the Bryant & Stratton College – Wisconsin head men's soccer coach for its NJCAA scholarship-offering program.
Gentry brings more than 25 years of soccer coaching experience. He previously was the head men's soccer coach at College of Lake County in Grays Lake, IL for the past three seasons finishing with an 17-27-5 record.
"I would like to thank Athletic Director Greg Brandner, Associate Athletic Director Ryan Ratajewski and the search committee for their trust in me to lead the men's soccer program," Gentry said. "I look forward to working with the entire college and athletics department staff to build a culture of excellence where we educate our student-athletes, compete for championships regularly and build a community. I am excited to share my knowledge of the game, passion for building strong relationships, and desire to succeed to help shape the future of Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer."
Prior to CLC, Gentry was an assistant women's soccer coach at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside (NCAA Division II). In 2016, Gentry helped the Rangers to a 10-6-2 record. Gentry has also coached at Shorewood High School from 2004-12 where he accumulated more than 200 wins including two Woodland Conference titles, nine WIAA Regional Championships, one Sectional Championship and one State Final appearance.
Gentry is currently the Director of Coaching for Southern United, a region of the Milwaukee Kickers. He also is the Head Club Coach for a number of youth teams with the Milwaukee Kickers South Academy soccer program.
Gentry holds several License's and Diploma's from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), United States Youth Futsal (USYF), as well as United Soccer Coaches (USC).
Gentry and his wife, Suzanne, reside in the Greendale with their two children.
"We are excited to bring on Buddy as our next head men's soccer coach," Bryant & Stratton College Athletic Director Greg Brandner said. "It is great to have a well-known, hard-working local coach who has coaching experience in the NJCAA Region IV."
Bryant & Stratton recently ended its second season as a men's soccer program finishing with a 5-11 record and is 8-22-1 in its young history.
The Bobcats soccer programs competed at the NJCAA Division I level the past two seasons. The NJCAA is adding a Division II level to soccer in 2020. Bryant & Stratton soccer programs will transition to Division II (scholarship offering) to match the majority of its our athletic teams.
