Coach Richert Receives Verbal Commitments for 2017-18 Season
Bryant & Stratton College Men’s Basketball Coach Brian Richert announced the verbal commitments of three athletes that will join the Bobcats for the 2017-2018 season.
Milwaukee, Wis. (April 13, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College Men's Basketball coach Brian Richert announced the verbal commitments of three athletes that will join the Bobcats for the 2017-18 season.
Two recruits - Brian McDowell and Aaron Taylor - will transfer from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Both Taylor and McDowell played high school basketball together at Milwaukee School of Languages.
Christopher Debose comes from Milwaukee Bradley Tech - High School where he competed on the varsity basketball team and was a star player in the program.
The Bobcats coaching staff has been on the recruiting trail heavily this offseason and will be looking for the incoming recruits to take the program to an even higher level.

Christopher Debose
Position - Guard/Forward
Milwaukee Bradley Tech High School
Height – 6'3"
Weight – 200 lbs.
Intended Major – Hospitality Management
"Chris is a great team leader," Richert said. "He is a hard nose player and will do what is needed to be done on and off the court. He can play both ends of the floor and will sacrifice whatever it takes to win. He will work and earn his way to a Division I scholarship after two successful seasons at Bryant & Stratton College."
Aaron Taylor
Position - Guard
Milwaukee School of Languages
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
Height – 6'2"
Weight – 175 lbs.
Intended Major – Hospitality Management
"Aaron is a tremendous athlete with a big upside," Richert said. "He can score in a variety of ways and can rebound very well. He has the ability to handle the ball and defend opposing big men if needed. Aaron will be a vital asset to the team with his court vision and unselfishness."
Brian McDowell
Position - Foward/Guard
Milwaukee School of Languages
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh
Height – 6'4"
Weight – 175 lbs.
Intended Major – Business
"Brian is a wiry athlete that can score from deep and defend" Richert said. "He has the athletic ability to get in the passing lane while playing off the ball."
