MILWAUKEE, Wis. (June 28, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College would like to officially announce the commitment of Myles Thomas out of Quakerdale Prep. located in New Providence, Iowa.
Prior to Quakerdale, Thomas competed at Monona Grove High School where he was named First Team All-Conference and Team MVP. He averaged 16 points and six assists per game his senior season.
The 6'1 guard has the ability to put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim.
A pure shooter, Thomas can step out beyond the arc and knock it down from long distance.
"Myles is a tremendous shooter and scorer that I have followed all year at Quakerdale Prep," Bobcats Head coach Brian Richert said. "I have been on this kid for months and we are very lucky and honored to sign not only a great basketball player but also a top student."
Thomas earned a 4.0 GPA while attending and will be looking to continue his education in the business program at Bryant & Stratton College.
"Someone like Myles is a coach's dream," Richert said. "I know a lot of coaches who would love to get their hands on a great player who has a 4.0 grade point average but we are the lucky and excitd to have Myles apart of the Bobcat family."
Thomas marks as another great pick up for the Bobcats as they continue to find top talent for what looks like a great season ahead.
Richert and his staff will enjoy this time with Thomas but quickly get back to the recruiting trail as the Fall semester approaches.
