WAUWATOSA, WI - (February 6, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College men's basketball team rallied to a 85-61 victory over Carthage College on Tuesday night earning their sixth consecutive win.
The victory improved the Bobcats to 19-7 overall on the season.
Freshman guard, Justin Brookens led the way with 20 points on 8-14 shooting followed by sophomore guard Joe Duty with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists.
Earning a double-double was freshman forward Jose Sosa with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Sosa has produced double figures in scoring and rebounding in two of the last four contests.
Sophomore forward TJ Schneider contributed 11 points off of the bench and sophomore guard Quentin Kendricks added 10.
Bryant & Stratton led 36-23 at the break after Brookens knocked down a corner three at the buzzer extending the lead to 13 to start the second half.
At the midway point of the second half, the Bobcats managed to break out on a 35-18 run and take a 71-41 advantage.
Leading 82-61 with two minutes remaining, Bryant & Stratton had the game wrapped up early as they went on to earn their 19th win of the season.
The Bobcats shot 50% from the floor including 32% from beyond the arc.
Bryant & Stratton shot 15-22 (68.2%) from the charity stripe.

Bryant & Stratton will stay on the road this weekned as they travel to Escanaba, MI to square off against the Bay College Norse on Saturday.
Tip-off will take place at 3:00pm.
The Norse will be looking for revenge this time around as the Bobcats defeated them at home in late January by a resounding score of 97-80.
