MILWAUKEE Wis. (August 30th, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College men's golf will tee-off Thursday at the Carl Sandburg College Charger Classic in Galesburg, Illinois.
The Bobcats will look to improve upon their opening tournament last weekend where they finished in 10th place. The event will be held at the Lake Bracken Country Club.
"We finished the round last weekend very strong and I am looking for the guys to carry that over to this tournament," Bobcats head coach Andy Runkel said. "We had a good week of practice and as long as the weather holds up we will be in good shape."
Each team competes with four players and the individual scores are combined into one team score.
Maxwell Rohlinger had a great opening tournament last weekend and Runkel is hoping he will perform even better this weekend.
"Max played outstanding for his first ever collegiate tournament," Runkel said. "I have a feeling he is going to play even better this event though."
Garrett Waloway, had a solid opening tournament as well.
"Garrett is a great player and I am excited to see him really break through this weekend," Runkel said.
Tee-off will begin at 1:30pm with trophies and medals being awarded to the winning team and the top five individual players post event.
