WAUWATOSA, WI (March 28, 2018) – Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer is ecstatic to announce the programs first ever signings of Cesar Garcia, Miguel Munoz, Jacob Boelter, Angel Luevano and Brody Sipiorski who will be joining the Bobcats for the 2018-19 inaugural season.
Milwaukee native, Garcia comes from Parker High School where he competed on the varsity team. Garcia will be positioning at the Center Forward position for the Bobcats next season.
"Cesar will be a terrific addition to our team," Bobcats head coach Dean Smith said. "We are impressed with his ability, composure, reading of the game and work ethic."
From Milwaukee, Munoz puts on a Bobcats uniform after competing on the varsity soccer team at Alexander Hamilton. The versatile player competes at both the midfield and defender position.
"Miguel will bring valuable experience to the men's soccer team," Smith said. "He has already shown that he will be a valuable resource and an effective leader to our incoming freshman."
From West Bend, Boelter attended West Bend West High School where he competed on the varsity team as a defender.
"We are delighted that Jacob chose Bryant & Stratton to continue his education and soccer career," Smith said. "He is a versatile and skilled player that will be a great addition to the program."
Coming out of Milwaukee, Luevano competed on the Milwaukee High School varsity team and will be key at the midfield position for the Bobcats next season.
"Angel will add a physical presence to our team," Smith said. "He is a great competitor and well suited for the physicality of the college game."
Out of Denmark, Sipiorski, the 5'10" Forward, comes from Denmark High School where he competed on the varsity program.
"Brody's dynamic playing style is matched with his personality," Smith said. "He is an aggressive player that will flourish at the college level."
Signing five players marks as a great start for Coach Smith as he continues to recruit for the Bobcats inaugural season beginning in the fall 2018.
Smith and his staff will remain on the recruiting trail as they look to put the program on the map come first game next year.
