WILHELMI SIGNS TWO FOR 2019 SEASON

WAUWATOSA, WI (July 10, 2019) - As the recruiting season stays in full swing, Bryant & Stratton College's head men's soccer coach Lukas Wilhelmi signs Henrique Caldeira Barreto out of Belo Horizonte, Brasil and Jorge Montes out of Waukesha, Wisconsin for the 2019 season.
Barreto, a central defensive midfielder, competed for Brewton-Park College (NAIA) in Mount Vernon, GA last season will be an integral part to the Bobcats second year program.
"Henriques transfer to our program is a game changer for us," Wilhelmi said. "His all-around play as a holding midfielder pushes our team to the next level."
Barreto is leaving a program that went 4-11 overall last season.
"After getting recruited from Brasil he will also arrive at Bryant & Stratton with a lot of experience to be a leader and top performer for us."
The Waukesha native, Montes comes from Waukesha South High School where he competed on the varsity program for four seasons.
"Jorge is a very creative player," Wilhelmi said. "His play possesses flair and he is always looking to play and score with elegance."
Montes also competed on the competitive club program FC Wisconsin in the offseasons throughout his high school career.
"Jorge is one of the best local signing in his year and we are blessed to have him."
With a talented recruiting class coming in the season, Wilhelmi and his staff will look to make tremendous strides forward this season.
