WAUWATOSA, WI (March 24, 2019) -  Bryant & Stratton College's Head Cross Country Coach Casey Green officially signed Brian Kiplagai out of Nairobi, Kenya for the 2019 season.

Kiplagai attended Kabimoi High School where he competed on the Cross Country and Track team.

"Brian adds incredible depth and racing experience to the inaugural BSC Cross Country team," Green said. "He brings great endurance and training technique to the team. He's as strong a competitor at 3,000 meters as he is at 10,000 meters. We're excited to bring his talents to Bryant & Stratton."

A remarkable athlete, Kiplagai most recent official times are 15:28 in the 5K PR, 8:58 3K, and 31:41 in 10K. 

"In addition to academics, there are a great variety of activities available at Bryant & Stratton," Kiplagai said. "I am excited to continue my interest in athletics. I am very enthusiastic about being part of the Bobcats family where I will be able to be creative, innovative and competitive."

Spectators can watch Kiplagai represent Bryant & Stratton next fall as the inaugural program will begin their season in August.
