Engibous Brings in Three for 2018-19 Season

MILWAUKEE, WI (March 7, 2018) – Bryant & Stratton College softball is thrilled to announce the signings of Brianna Zook, Emily Karoses, and Rachel Myland who will be joining the Bobcats for the 2018-19 season.
From Shawano High School, Zook competed on the varsity team and helped bring much success to the program throughout her career. A versatile player, Zook competes at third base, second base, and short-stop.
In the off-season, Zook competed for the Wisconsin Panther Elite which is a competitive travel team located in Appleton, WI.
"I am extremely excited to bring Brianna into the program," Engibous said. "She is a very smart kid which I love in player and I look forward to seeing her grow on the diamond come this fall."
Likewise, Zook also is excited to finish out this high school season and start focusing on her collegiate career in a Bobcat uniform.
"I am looking forward to meeting new people and succeeding in my major and in the softball program," Zook said.
Zook will be studying business and spectators can view her wearing number 11 on the field.
From West Bend East High School, Karoses competed on the varsity team as well as the Midwest Glory travel team in the offseason.
"I could not be more excited that Emily chose Bryant & Stratton College to continue her education and softball career," Engibous said. "I have spoke to a lot of people in the area and everyone raves about Emily as a player."
Karoses will take on an outfield role for the Bobcats.
"With Emily's skills in the outfield she will be a huge addition for us this fall," Engibous said.
Karoses is looking forward to finishing out her high school career on a high note and putting on a Bobcats uniform.
"I am excited to play with a new team and meet new people," Karoses said.
Karoses will be studying General Education and specators can see her wearing number 10 on the diamond.
From Spring Grove, IL, Myland competed on the Richmond Burton-High School varsity team as well as on the McHenry County Heatwave travel team in the offseason.
"Rachel will be a great addition to our outfield group," Enigbous said. "She is extremely athletic and quick which is something I look for in outfielders."
Although she is a very skilled player, Engibous noticed something even more special about Myland.
"Not only is she a great athlete but her passion for the game is something that caught my eye right away," Engibous said.
The passionate outfielder is looking forward to a great college career as well.
"I am really looking forward to not just becoming a better ball player but a better role model to others," Myland said.
Myland will be studying business and spectators can see her wearing number six on the diamond.
With all of March and April left in the inaugural season, Engibous will continue recruiting for next year while focusing on each game this season.
