WAUWATOSA, WI (May, 22 2018) – Bryant & Stratton College's softball coach, Troy Engibous, has been recruiting heavily this off-season and officially signed Waukesha native, Olivia Miller, out of Waukesha West High School.
Miller completed her four-years of academics as a homeschooled student but competed for the Waukesha West High varsity softball program senior year.
"I am very excited to be adding Olivia to the BSC softball family," Engibous said. "She will bring a tremendous amount of athleticism to the outfield come fall."
A versatile player, Miller will primarly play outfield for the Bobcats but may see some time in the infield at third base as well.
In the offseason, Miller competes on the Waukesha Blazers travel team with current Bryant & Stratton catcher, Melissa Biefeld (So). While competing on the Waukesha Blazers Miller was awarded Gameday Tournament MVP.
"Olivia will also bring a ton of softball knowledge to the team," Engibous said. "She is the exact type of student athlete I want in this program."
Looking forward to continue her education and softball career, Miller is prepared to put on a Bobcat uniform and be a vital asset to the team.
"I am excited to continue my softball career at Bryant & Stratton College," Miller said.
As the 2018-19 season approaches, Engibous will continue to build a strong roster as he prepares his team for scrimmages come fall.
