MILWAUKEE, WI (December 26, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College is thrilled to announce that Ari Duncanson has officially signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for the Bobcats women's soccer team in the fall of 2018. Duncanson is the fourth recruit to officially join the Bryant & Stratton College inaugural Women's Soccer team.
From De Pere, Wisconsin, Ari attended De Pere High School where she competed as a varsity player for four years. She has played several positions, most recently excelling at center back.
"Ari is the type of leader that is necessary for success at any program," Bobcats head coach Lucas Henderson said. "She will be important for the culture we are trying to create here at Bryant & Stratton College."
Along with competing for her high school, Duncanson played for Lakeshore United FC in Sheboygan, helping the squad to a 2nd place finish at the State Cup.
A dedicated athlete, Ari also competed on the Olympic Development Program Region I State team for two years.
"There is always a place for a player with her ability, athleticism, and competitive spirit," Henderson said.
Duncanson is looking forward to furthering her education and soccer career in a Bobcat uniform.
"I'm excited to be a part of the inaugural 2018 season at Bryant & Stratton College," Duncanson said. "I can't wait to learn from Coach Henderson, who has given me such an excellent opportunity to continue my soccer and academic career in a great environment."
Another signing for Henderson puts the Bobcats in a great position for their inaugural season next fall. Henderson will remain on the recruiting trail as he looks to continue to build a competitive roster.
