WAUWATOSA, WI (Sept. 17, 2018) - After a 2-2 tie this past Saturday against Morton College, the Bryant & Stratton College women's soccer program went on the road Monday evening to square off against College of Lake County where they suffered a heartbreaking 3-2 loss. The Bobcats moved to 2-3-1 overall and 1-3-1 in region competition.
With the score tied 2-2, the Bobcats failed to push overtime as College of Lake County netted the game winning goal with just 40 seconds left on the clock.
The first half was all postiives for the Bobcats as they got on the board early after freshman, Lauren Huss, scored the Bobcats first goal (assisted by Ari Duncanson) at the 17:00 minute mark followed by Lexi Oleniczak (assisted by Donnae Cage) finding the back of the net at the 33:00 minute mark.
"We started to create more quality scoring chances and I think that comes from understanding roles on the field," Bobcats head coach Lucas Henderson said.
A phenomenal display both offensively and defensively thoughout the first half, the Bobcats failed to find the back of the net in the second half which was the difference in the outcome of the game.
Despite a devastating ending, the Bobcats will take the positives from the game and look ahead to their next matchup.

The Bobcats will host Richard J. Daley College on Saturday for a 10:15am kickoff.
"The mindset before saturday will be to rest and recover for a few days," Henderson said. "Then we can start to address some specifics for this weekend to get prepared."
