WAUWATOSA, WI (September 18, 2018) - After having four days off, the Bryant & Stratton College volleyball team went on the road to College of Lake County where they bulldozed their way to a 3-0 victory improving to 7-5 overall and 6-2 in region play.
Coming out on fire, the Bobcats took set one 25-21 and followed up their solid play in set two cruising to a 25-19 victory.
Leading 2-0, the third set was a back and forth battle as the Bobcats saw themselves trailing 24-22. Exposing the opponents weak spots, the Bobcats rallied back and pulled away with a 27-25 win.
"For the frist time in two weeks we had a weekend off which helped them recover from injuries that were not able to heal due to our heavy schedule," Bobcats head coach Heather Curley said. "They came in well rested, energized and ready to play."
Collectively, the Bobcats posted a .286K% including 16 errors.
"They kept their energy going throughout the entire match," Curley said. "Our team is smart and we read the court well in order to take advantage of the weak spots on the other side."
Freshman, Andrea Miranda, led the way for the Bobcats with 13 kills and nine digs followed by Kyenna Stanley-Reckin with 10 kills and five digs.
Gabriela Lopez produced seven kills and seven digs while Ashley Weimann added seven kills and two digs.
Evelis Vicenty kept everyone involved recording 35 assists.

The Bobcats will travel to River Grove, Ill. to take the court against Triton College for a 6:00pm region contest.
