WAUWATOSA, WI (October 15, 2018) - The Bryant & Stratton College women's volleyball team won their second consecutive match Monday evening with a 3-0 sweep at Morton College. The Bobcats blew by the Panthers 25-15, 25-22 and 25-15 which improved them to 14-9 overall and 13-5 in region competition.
The Bobcats took control of the match from the service line as they recorded nine service aces. Freshman, Gabriela Lopez, led the way with 15 kills and three service aces followed by Andrea Miranda with 13 kills, three service aces and one assist.
"The team's energy has come alive, their confidence is high and they have continued to to get stronger every time they take the court," Bobcats head coach Heather Curley said. "As long as they continue to build that momentum by continuing to work together as a team; we will continue to see success."
Middle Hitter, Ashley Weimann, produced nine kills on a .429 K% while setter Evelis Vicenty contributed 40 of the teams total 41 assists.
"We are a team that pushes each other and brings out the best in everyone," Curley said.
Overall, the Bobcats posted 41 kills on 61 attempts (.459%) and 28 digs.

Bryant & Stratton will host Oakton Community College Monday, October 22 at 5:00pm. The Bobcats suffered a loss earlier this season at Oakton on October 8 but will look to bounce back this time around.
"Once you get this far into the season the body starts to get tired and stressed with school but I know they can push past that and I am confident the results will follow down the stretch here."
