WAUWATOSA, WI (March 20, 2018) – The Bryant & Stratton College Baseball team went on the road Sunday for a Region IV double-header against Triton College where the Bobcats lost 14-3 in game one and 11-1 in game two. This marked as the Bobcats first region games in program history.
The Bobcats (0-5) had not competed since early March due to weather issues.
03/18 – Game 1 vs. Triton College (14-3 L)
The Bobcats struck first as they led the Trojans 1-0 after two innings. Heading into the bottom of the third the Trojans bats came alive scoring three runs and they never looked back.
The Bobcats went scoreless in the top of the fourth and the Trojans tacked on another run in the bottom of the inning.
In the top of the fifth the Bobcats cut the deficit and made it a 4-3 game but the Trojans retaliated scoring seven runs in the bottom of the inning.
03/18 – Game 2 vs. Triton College (11-1)
Going into the second game of the double-header the Bobcats got on the board early leading 1-0 going into the bottom of the first. The Trojans got on the board early as well as they tied the game 1-1 to start the top of the second.
Offensively the Bobcats struggled the remainder of the game as they were held scoreless the rest of the way.
Up next for the Bobcats is another Region IV double-header at Oakton Community College on Tuesday. The Bobcats will look to capture their first win of the season and in program history.
