WAUWATOSA, WI (April 16, 2018) - Bryant & Stratton College men's basketball coach, Matt Majkrzak, officially signed "sharp shooter" Manny Jingco out of Roseville, MN last week who will be putting on a Bobcat uniform for the 2018-19 season.
The 6'1 combo guard comes from Forrest Lake High School where he competed on the varsity program for three seasons. Averaging 18 points, five rebounds and two steals per game, Jingco will look to be a major contributor come opening tip-off next season.
"Manny is a perfect fit on and off the floor for our basketball program," Majkrzak said. "He's a great kid and works extremely hard on his game."
The First Team All-Conference player ranks in the top five in scoring history at Forrest Lake and helped lead his team to the state tournament.
"On the floor he will bring shooting, toughness and a commitment to defending," Majkrzak said. "When I got the job Manny was someone that I knew I wanted to be part of our program."
In the offseasons, Jingco excelled his game while competing on the Minnesota Fury which is a competitive AAU program.
Jingco will look to make as similar impact at the college level as he did in high school.
"I chose Bryant & Stratton because I believe I can become a better person and basketball player," Jingco said. "I really liked Coach "Mack" and the way he wants to play which helped my decision."
Jingco marks as a great signing for Majkrzak as he continues to recruit top-talent and build a competitive roster for next season.
