"This was the first meet of the season, so the team will need to shake off some rust," Bobcats head coach Andy Runkel said. "As we start getting into a regular practice routine, I expect all the guys will show some improvement and consistency in their games."
Although, the Bobcats were looking to finish better than the results showed, Runkel is confident the team will improve drastically before the next event.
"The course was challenging in the morning but in the afternoon the weather got better and the guys were able to shoot much better," Runkel said.
The next tournament for the Bobcats takes place Thursday, August 31st at the Charger Classic located in Galesburg, Illinois. Tee-off will be at 1:30pm and Lake Bracken Country Club.
