Strasser Signs with Bryant & Stratton College Softball

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (August 23, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College softball is thrilled to announce the signing of Meghan Strasser from Waterford, Wisconsin.
Strasser competed at Mukwonago High School where she was on the varsity softball team for two seasons and was known in the conference for her phenomenal slapping ability. Strasser has also competed for multiple competitive club teams during the offseason.
Standing at 5'7", Strasser most recently competed for the Greenfield Ignitors club softball and helped lead the team to a remarkable final season.
"I am very excited Meghan has decided to continue her softball career at Bryant & Stratton College," Bobcats head softball coach Troy Engibous said. "I could see her love for the game the second we began talking."
Strasser will be taking on an outfield role this season as she will be able to cover a lot of ground with her outstanding speed.
"I love her speed as an outfielder and on the bases," Engibous said. "We will definitely utilize her speed any way we can."
Likewise, Strasser is thrilled to join the Bobcats and help put the program on the map.
"I am excited to be continuing my softball career the college level with Bryant & Stratton College," Strasser said.
Strasser will be enrolling in the Medical Assisting program and spectators can see her wearing jersey number one on the diamond.
A great signing in Strasser, Engibous will start to finalize his roster as the fall semester approaches.
