Bobcats Track & Field lands dual-sport athlete from Arkansas!
Bryant & Stratton Track & Field kicks off their signing period with Antwuan Jefferson, from Clarendon, Arkansas.
Antwuan is a 2019 graduate of Clarendon High School who has spent the past 6 months training and serving with the Army National Guard, and he will continue to do so while studying and competing as a Bobcat. He brings a high-level of overall athleticism and discipline to the Bryant & Stratton program and will compete in both cross country and track & field in 2020/2021.
"Antwuan's character, work ethic, and general athleticism sets him apart from a lot of athletes his age," said Head Coach Casey Green. "He's as good at distance events as he is in the pole vault, or mid-distances which give our entire team a boost of depth and talent. We're excited to kick off training with Antwuan!"
In their first cross country season the Bobcat's Men's Team took home the Region IV Team Title and qualified for the 2019 NJCAA D1 National Championship. The Track & Field team is expected to continue that trend of success!
