Joseph Harker from New Mexico commits to the Bobcats!
Coming off an incredibly successful inaugural season, the Bobcats XC/Track & Field team continues to get stronger with the commitment of Joseph Harker from Rehoboth, NM.
Harker joins the Bobcats from Rehoboth Christian HS where he competes at the Varsity level in both Cross Country and Track & Field. Steady improvement and hard work led Harker to a top-10 finish at the NMAA Cross Country State Championship as a Senior this past season.
Said Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Casey Green, "We're incredibly excited to have Joseph join the Bobcat squad this upcoming year. He's exceptionally hard working and has an incredibly high understanding of the sport, training techniques, and race strategy. With development and his continued high-level of training I see no reason why Joseph couldn't become a top runner and national contender at Bryant & Stratton!"
Harker will join the Bobcats as a dual-sport athlete competing in Cross Country and Track & Field. Focusing primarily on distance events he will add talent to the already strong returning group of National Championship qualifiers from the 2019 season.
"The team has a strong family connection and to be a part of a team like this is exactly what I am looking for. This is why I ultimately chose Bryant & Stratton College to pursue my athletic career and education," said Harker.
The Bobcats Cross Country team will kick-off their 2020 season in August!
