Bobcats Track & Field lands big commit from Cincinnati, Ohio
The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Track & Field team continues to build their championship-caliber roster with the addition of Sir-Julius Reid (Cincinnati, OH). Reid brings his sprint expertise to the Bobcats program after many successful seasons as a multi-sport athlete at Cincinnati College Prep Academy.
"It's an exciting time to be building the Bobcats Track & Field program! Sir-Julius, from our very first conversation exuded everything we look for in a student-athlete. A talented, respectful, and incredibly hard working young man. He is going to be a big impact student-athlete for us in 2020/2021," said Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Casey Green.
Competing as one of the only members of his sprint program in high school, Reid has managed to develop and improve to an incredibly high, state recognized level.
Reflecting on his decision, Reid stated, "I chose BSC because I was given the opportunity to continue to run track and compete at the next level. I am very excited to start my next chapter in life. My first time talking to Coach Lief and Coach Green they welcomed me with opened arms. They believed in me and that I can be the best that I can be. I feel like going to BSC will be a good opportunity and a good start for me. I can't wait to see what other goals I can accomplish. I can't wait to get to work, meet my coaches and develop a bond with my team. Whatever opportunity comes my way I will take advantage of it!"
Welcome to the Bobcats family Sir-Julius!
