Bryant & Stratton College baseball celebrates Alex Breckheimer
MILWAUKEE — On April 9, the Bryant & Stratton College baseball team celebrated Alex Breckheimer, who committed to Kansas.
He’s Bryant & Stratton’s first Power 5 recruit, and from the moment he arrived in Lawrence, he knew it was the place for him.
“On the visit, I loved all the coaches, the facilities and it felt like the best decision for me,” Breckheimer said.
Before joining the Bobcats or Kansas, Breckheimer was playing baseball in Chilton, Wisconsin. He was voted Eastern Wisconsin Conference (EWC) Player of the Year and led the Chilton Tigers to back-to-back EWC titles.
He continued that success with the Bobcats and is 6-5 during his career with them. He has also pitched 82⅓ innings, struck out 102 batters and recorded a WHIP of 1.35. However, Breckheimer is still motivated to succeed at the next level.
“I just have to stay within myself and who I am,” Breckheimer said.
