Bryant & Stratton College baseball hands MATC loss
MILWAUKEE — The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team headed to MATC once again or a matchup with the Stormers. It defeated them in March and the Bobcats were aiming to do the same in this matchup. This game was rescheduled after the game was canceled on April 2, and again, the Bobcats offense exploded for double-digit runs.
The offense started scoring thanks to a triple by Sean Reilly and a sharp ground ball by Brayden Pleau, which allowed Reilly to score.
Zach Rechner was called to start on the bump for the Bobcats and he answered the call. He started the game with three scoreless innings. But the Stormers were able to bring one across in the bottom of the fourth following a passed ball.
Bryant & Stratom answered with a five-run inning highlighted by an Alex Esser triple.
It came to the plate again and seven more runs came in.
The Stormers scored six more times, but it wasn't enough.
