OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team took on the Madison College Wolfpack at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park Tuesday. Alex Breckhiermer took the mound for the Bobcats, looking to start a new winning streak after they fell to McHenry on Monday.
Both teams remained scoreless until Madison plated four runs at the top of the third. Bryant & Stratton responded in the bottom of the fifth with two runs, thanks to a Brayden Pleau triple and a sacrifice fly from Sean Reilly.
However, the Wolfpack added four more runs in the top of the fifth and another in their half of the sixth.
Bryant & Stratton kept battling and after a double by Reilly and a base-clearing double by Anthony Sacchetti, it trailed by three runs. But it was not enough and Madison College ran away with it, scoring six runs in the last three innings.
This was the second consecutive loss for the Bobcats.
