GRAYSLAKE, Ill. — The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team looked to stay in the win column after defeating Oakton. It looked to do that again College of Lake County (CLC), which it originally swept at the end of March. However, it would be a different result a month later.
Game 1 | CLC 6, Bryant & Stratton 5
Thomas Hunt started the game for the Bobcats and he was clean through two innings. But the Lancers scored twice in the bottom of the third. The Bobcats remained vigilant and Ryan Weed drove in Ashton Kampa, who hit a single.
Luis Serrano singled in the top of the fifth and Brayden Pleau drove him into the yeti the game in the top of the fifth. Josh Opiola came into the pitch and with one out on the board an error was committed that allowed the Lancers to take a one-run lead.
That's how game one of the doubleheader would end.

Game 2 | CLC 13, Bryant & Stratton 6
The Bobcats struck first in game two, thanks to a sacrifice fly from Serrano and Austin Sigrist took the mound for them. It was a rough two innings for him as he gave up five runs, four earned. Bryant & Stratton went scoreless for three innings until the fifth, when they scored five runs.
Jedvier Garcia highlighted the inning with a three-run home run that gave the Bobcats the lead, but the lead didn't last long. CLC responded with an eight-run inning, jumping out to a seven-run lead, and it didn't relinquish it. The Lancers retained the lead with a sweep of their own and both teams ended the season 2-2 against each other.
