(February 16, 2017) – Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats traveled to Merriville Indiana Wednesday night where they fell short to a very talented Don Bosco Prep program 88-69.
The Bobcats (11-18) got off to a slow start trailing 50-29 at the end of the first half but came out of the gates strong in the second half trailing only 62-54 with nine minutes remaining in the game. Despite cutting the deficit to eight, the clock struck zero's before the Bobcats could find a way to capture the lead.
Bobcats guard Nate Walker lead the team in scoring with 24 points while shooting eight-of-11 from the field. Forward Angelo Croft contributed 14 and Diamante Freeman tacked on eight.
The Bobcats final game of the season takes place at 1:00pm on February 25 vs Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI. The Bobcats look to seek revenge after falling short earlier this season 71-67 at home in late January.
