WAUWATOSA, WI (March 4, 2019) - Saturday will mark as the first ever NJCAA Region IV Championship appearance for the #2 seeded Bryant & Stratton College men's basketball team (25-7) as they take on the #1 seeded Morton College Panthers (20-12) at the host, Waubonsee Community College, in Sugar Grove, IL. Tip-off will take place at 7:30pm.
A highly-anticipated game between the two teams, the Panthers and Bobcats will rematch as Bryant & Stratton sufferd a 73-68 loss at Morton back in late December this season.
"I am proud of how we have grown as a team and we will need to be at our best against a really good Morton team," Bobcats head coach Matt Majkrzak said.
Playing their best basketball late in the season, Bryant & Stratton has won 12 consecutive games while Morton has put together an impressive eight game winning streak.
"Our team has been fortunate to play in a lot of big games," Majkrzak said. "You want to play your best basketball of the year during tournament time and we have done that winning our last 12 games. We just have to do what we have done all year and focus on the little things to help us win the game."
