Karter Thomas named NJCAA All-American
MILWAUKEE — The NJCAA released its All-American teams today, and Bryant & Stratton College guard Karter Thomas was named a third-team All-American. This was also Thomas' first All-American nomination.
During this past season, he recorded 21.3 points per game (ppg), shot 51% from the field and had eight games of 25-plus points. Additionally, he maintained a streak streak of 19 games with 19-plus points.
Thomas has also been on the NJCAA Region 4 all-region first-team three times (2020-21, 2022-23, 2023-24) during his tenure and was a member of the all-region tournament team three times (2020-21, 2022-23, 2023-24). He's also the all-time leading scorer in Bryant & Stratton men's basketball history with 1,531 points.
“Karter is our go-to guy offensively and really sets the tone for the rest of our team,” Bobcats head basketball coach Chuck Ruffing said this season.
