WAUWATOSA, WI (September 24, 2018) - Looking to get back on track after a tough loss on saturday, the Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team came up short on the road monday night where they suffered an 0-3 loss at Kanakakee Community College. The Bobcats move to 2-7-1 overall.
After a scoreless first half by both teams, Kankakee pulled away in the second half scoring three goals in 45 minutes and running away with a 3-0 victory.
"We played our third game in five days," Bobcats head coach, Lukas Wilhelmi, said. "But we never quit."
Despite the loss, Wilhelmi was very pleased with how they continued to battle through adversity.
"The results speak a different language right now but the hustle and perserverance that these guys show throughout all of this adversity is so impressive," Wilhelmi said. "The effort is only going to help our soccer program grow in the long run."
Freshman, Javier Cardenas, led the way for the Bobcats with five shots (three on goal) followed by Mohamed Abdallah with one shot and one on goal.
Goalkeeper, Trevor Russell, allowed three goals with nine saves.
