WAUWATOSA, WI (February 26, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team just improved drastically as Jose Angeles from Madison, WI signed his national letter of intent to put on a Bobcat uniform for the fall 2019 season.
The 6'0" goalkeeper comes from Middleton High School where he competed on the varsity program for three seasons.
"I coached Jose at Madison FC and followed his development at Middleton and Rush Wisconsin ever since," Bobcats head coach Lukas Wilhelmi said. "He is a great shot-stopper; one of the best in the state with great reflexes and athleticism."
In the offseasons Angeles competed for Rush Wisconsin.
"Having Jose will allow us to concede less goals and with his footwork ability we will score more goals," Wilhelmi said. "He gives our game a completely new dimension in the build-up phase."
Angeles marks as a great signing for Wilhelmi as he looks to bring on a playoff appearance in year two of the program.
Wilhelmi finished the inaugural season last year with a record of 3-11-1.
