WAUWATOSA, WI (April 23, 2019) - Sevenson Xiong out of Eau Claire, WI signed his National Letter of Intent to compete for the Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer program come fall of 2019.
Xiong comes from Eau Claire North High School where he served as a three-year varsity player. In the offseason, he competed on a competitive club program known as Eau Claire United.
"Sevenson will make us better on the field and in the locker room," Bobcats head coach Lukas Wilhelmi said. "He is a talented and a wonderful teammate who always asks himself how to serve the players around him."
Xiong will not be the only player with that last name next season as his older brother, Kaying Xiong, competed for the Bobcats last year and will suit up again next fall as a sophomore.
"With his brother Kaying already on the team he knows us and what Bryant & Stratton stands for family," Wilhelmi said.
Along with Wilhelmi's excitement, Xiong is equally excited about joining the Bocbats next season.
"Bryant & Stratton College was my first choice from the beginning," Xiong said. "This seems like a great group of guys to play alongside and that is why I chose Bryant & Stratton."
