Men's volleyball tri-match recap
MILWAUKEE — The men’s volleyball team at Bryant & Stratton College finished their home schedule with a tri-match against UW-Stevens Point and MSOE on March 15. The Bobcats split their matchups, beating the Pointers and falling to the Raiders.
The Bobcats were led by Nigel Litts, who had 12 kills, while Will Monahan had 28 assists. Bryant & Stratton jumped out to a 2-0 set lead but fell to Stevens Point in the third set. However, the Bobcats indeed won the match in the fourth set after they defeated the Pointers 25 16.
In the final match of the night, Damon Leavitt led the Bobcats in kills. He finished with nine, and Nigel Litts was right behind him with eight. Marcus Johnson also had 20 assists. Despite the strong performances, the Bobcats fell in three sets but gave strong efforts in the second and third sets. In the second set, they fell 25-21, and in the third set, they fell 26-24.
It was a great matchup and the Bobcats have one more regular season match before the national tournament in April.
