WEST ALLIS, Wis. — The Bryant & Stratton College softball team put in another outstanding doubleheader led by the arm of Macey Clark and an offense that scored 14 runs. 

Game 1 | Bryant & Stratton 8, Highland CC 0

The Bobcats tacked on the afternoon's first run when Madelyn Birling scored on a wild pitch. Nora Statz added to the total with a double to left field.

No scoring took place until the bottom of the fifth when Statz brought in Carissa Heisdorf, who reached on an error.  

The Bobcats scored four more runs in the bottom of the sixth to run-rule the Cougars in game one.

Notes

• Statz went 3-for-3 and recorded two RBIs. She also recorded her 50th hit of the season during the doubleheader.   

• Clark stuck out nine batters.

• Lizzy Wesoloski and Birling provided offense as well, going a combined 4-for-7 and driving in three runs.

Game 2 | Bryant & Stratton 6, Highland CC 1

The Bobcats were on the board first, following a sacrifice fly from Joscelyn Bennett. They turned the Cougars away in the second and added two more runs following a double from Grace Leitheiser and an RBI single from Birling. 

Highland hit a solo home run in the fourth, but that'd be all the offense it would muster facing Holly Lowenberg. The Bobcats scored one run in fourth, fifth and sixth innings to grow their lead to five runs. Heisdorf brought in two of those runs, while Kayla Roidt recorded an RBI single. 

Lowenberg pitched six full innings and Jacie Jones finished things off and recorded one strikeout. With the win, Bryant & Stratton recorded its sixth straight victory. 

Notes

• Statz recorded her 50th hit of the season during the doubleheader.   

• Wesoloski recorded her 100th career RBI

• Six Bobcats recorded hits.
