Bryant & Stratton College softball slugs its way to sweep
WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Following a sweep of Madison College, the Bryant & Stratton College softball team hosted Waubonsee Community College and aimed to keep its hot streak going. They would and the bats stayed hot behind Grace Leitheiser and Madelyn Birling.
Game 1 | Bryant & Stratton 13, Waubonsee 0
Joscelyn Bennett started the scoring with a three-run home run in the first inning and Leitheiser added a grand slam to give the Bobcats a comfortable lead. Lizzy Wesoloski added a home run of her own and the lead grew to 11-0.
The Bobcats added two more runs and they walked away with another win.
Macey Clark also pitched and gave up two hits and recorded three strikeouts.

Game 2 | Bryant & Stratton 20, Waubonsee 9
Holly Lowenberg was back in the circle for the Bobcats and while she surrendered one run in the first, the offense picked her up and gave her a seven-run cushion. Bennett started things with a grand slam and Birling followed that up with a two-run home run.
The Chiefs battled back to trial by two runs, but Kaitlynn Christ and Birling helped bring in three runs for the Bobcats. They added nine more runs, the fourth giving them a 14-run lead and while Waubonsee tacked on three more runs, Bryant & Stratton walked away with its fourth straight victory.

Bryant & Stratton is set to host another doubleheader on April 21 at Rainbow Park. It'll play host to Highland Community College (Ill.) and following that doubleheader the Bobcats will have their last regular season home game against the College of DuPage on Tuesday.
