Trishena Brown named NJCAA All-American
MILWAUKEE — The NJCAA released its All-American teams today, and Bryant & Stratton College freshman guard Trishena Brown was named a second-team All-American.
“[It’s] great to have our players’ hard work recognized,” Bryant & Stratton assistant coach Mallory Liebl said. “Trishena is one of the top players in the country in our division. She can score, rebound, defend and is extremely athletic.”
Brown averaged 21.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game during the 2023-24 season, which led her to receive NJCAA Region 4 Player of the Year honors.
Brown also scored 639 total points, the second-most by a Bryant & Stratton women’s basketball player in a single season, and shot 44.7% from the field.
She’ll aim to replicate the success heading into her sophomore year and help the Bobcats find more success.
