Bryant & Stratton XC/T&F signs 2 new athletes and re-signs 3 national qualifiers!
In a great day of signings, the BSC Bobcats XC/T&F programs signed two new student-athletes and re-signed three of their national championship qualifiers from the 2019 season!
Val Nzeakor, Heritage HS – Texas, and Lexi Oleniczak, Arrowhead HS – Wisconsin, are new additions to the team after successful previous years as student-athletes at BSC in basketball and soccer.
"Both Val and Lexi bring immense athleticism and maturity to the team. They're going to be great leaders and have a lot of potential to develop into real impact teammates right away," said Casey Green, Director of Cross Country/Track & Field.
Returning to the Bobcats team to build off of their incredibly successful inaugural season are Holly Tsosie, Jaden Aguino, and Fhabian Tellez. Tsosie, Thoreau HS – New Mexico, was an individual national qualifier and finished 2nd at the Regional Championship in 2019. Aguino, Santa Fe Indian School – New Mexico, and Tellez, Racine Horlick HS – Wisconsin, were both members of the 2019 Men's Regional Championship team and also competed at the NJCAA D1 National Championship in Albuquerque, NM.
Said Coach Green, "Coach [Brian] Lief and I could not be happier to have Jaden, Holly, and Fhabian coming back as Bobcats next year. They are a great core of athletes to continue to lead our team to more success in 2020! They'll serve as irreplaceable leaders for our program."
The Bobcats will kick-off their 2020/2021 season in August, 2020.
