
Bryant & Stratton College athletics accepts Program Leadership Award
Bobcats earn local award from Milwaukee Youth Sports Alliance
MILWAUKEE — Bryant & Stratton College has been named the 2025 National Girls and Women in Sports Day Program Leadership Award Recipient, powered by the Milwaukee Youth Sports Alliance.
“Thank you to the Milwaukee Youth Sports Alliance for the Program Leadership Award and for everyone celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day,” Associate Athletic Director Ryan Ratajewski said. “I want to say thank you to Greg Brandner, our state director...once we got the go-ahead to start sports, we quickly added sports...our goal is for our Bobcats to graduate with an associate degree and some continue to play their sport at a four institution, while others join the workforce in fields like business, healthcare, occupational therapy and nursing.”
National Girls and Women in Sports Day is a nationwide celebration which recognizes the accomplishments of individuals in the promotion and advancement of girls and women's sports.
The event was held at Gather at the Deer District in Milwaukee from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Feb. 5.
