
Bobcats Take One of Two at Lake County
Looking for revenge, the Bryant & Stratton College baseball team (5-12) went on the road to Grayslake, IL Tuesday night where they split the two game series against College of Lake County with a 17-5 win in game one and a 7-3 loss in game two.

WAUWATOSA, WI (April 2, 2019) - Looking for revenge, the Bryant & Stratton College baseball team (5-12) went on the road to Grayslake, IL Tuesday night where they split the two game series against College of Lake County with a 17-5 win in game one and a 7-3 loss in game two.
The Bobcats suffered a 9-7 loss at CLC earlier this season in the middle of March.
Game one vs College of Lake County (17-5 win)
With the score tied at 2-2, Bryant & Stratton took a three-run lead in the top of the third after Malik Hill (So.) tripled on a line drive to left field.
The Bobcats tacked on three more runs in the top of the fourth to take a 8-2 lead before the Lancers scored three of their own in the bottom of the inning.
Up 8-5 in the top of th fifth, the Bobcats unloaded offensively pouring on nine runs to earn the win.
Alec Spang (Fr.) led the way for Bryant & Stratton with three hits and five RBI's followed by Hill with two hits and five RBI's.
Starting pitcher Dominick Meyer (So.) threw 4.1 innings while striking out four.
Game two vs College of Lake County (7-3 Loss)
The Lancers responded to the Bobcats in game two as they jumped out to a 7-2 lead heading into the top of the sixth.
Attempting to get over the hump, Bryant & Stratton fell short in the final two innings despite scoring one run in the top of the sixth.
The Bobcats produced just three total hits as David Paleo (So.), Pedro Chayeb (Fr.) and Hill each finished the game with one hit.
Starting pitcher Eloy Puentes (Fr.) threw six innings giving up seven earned runs and striking out three.
