WAUWATOSA, WI (April 14, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team (7-16) hosted the Kankakee Community College Cavaliers on Saturday where they dropped two consecutive losses 11-1 in game one and 6-0 in game two.
The losses now puts the Bobcats 5-8 in region play.
GAME ONE VS KANKAKEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE (11-1 Loss)
After the Cavaliers put two on the board in the top of the first, the Bobcats earned one of those runs back in the bottom of the inning after Ryan Kalinowski (Fr.) doubled on a line drive to center field.
Trailing just 2-1, the Cavaliers put together a strong second and third inning offensively as they scored five runs in the second and four in the third to take a commanding 11-1 lead and never looked back.
For the Bobcats, Kalinowski led the way with one hit and one RBI.
Leighton Myers (So.) threw 2.1 innings giving up six earned runs.
GAME TWO VS KANKAKEE COMMUNITY COLLEGE (6-0 Loss)
A defensive battle all game led to the Cavaliers putting up two runs in the sixth and four runs in the seventh which gave them the victory as the Bobcats failed to get on the board.
Alec Spang (Fr.) provided the Bobcats only hits in the game as he finished with two hits.
Keanu Walkush (So.) threw all seven-innings giving up four earned runs while striking out four batters.

Bryant & Stratton will travel to Madison College on Monday for a Region IV double header.
First pitch of game one will be thrown at 2:30pm.
