OAK CREEK, WI (April 26, 2019) - A cross-town double header between the Bryant & Stratton College baseball team (9-21) and the Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers led to a 1-1 split as the Stormers took game one 6-2 and the Bobcats won game two 5-4.
The split improves the Bobcats to 6-14 in region play with 12 region games remaining in the regular season.
GAME ONE VS MILWAUKEE AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE (6-2 LOSS)
With the score tied at 1-1 through five-innings of play, the Bobcats took 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth and were just six-outs away from earning the win.
In the bottom of the inning, the Stomers caused havoc on the Bobcats defensively as they scored five runs to take a commanding 6-2 lead which was more than enough to seal the win.
Parker Walker (So.) finished the game with one hit and one RBI for the Bobcats.
Leighton Myers (So.) tossed five-innings allowing three earned runs while striking out three.
GAME TWO VS MILWAUKEE AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGE (5-4 WIN)
After a tough loss in game one, Bryant & Stratton bounced back quickly scoring four runs in the top of the first which began with a two-run double by Alec Spang (Fr.) giving the Bobcats a 2-0 lead.
Walker and Malik Hill (So.) each brought in an RBI of their own on ground balls to second base to give the Bobcats a commanding 4-0 lead.
Despite the Momentum against them, the Stormers tied the game at 4-4 after scoring two runs in the second and third.
After a scoreless fourth and fifth inning from both sides, the Bobcats scored one-run in the top of the sixth and held on to a 5-4 victory.
Keanu Walkush (So.) led the way for the Bobcats with two hits.
Elijah Garcia (So.) threw two innings giving up four earned runs.

Bryant & Stratton will take on Olive-Harvey College at home on Friday afternoon for one nine-inning game.
