OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — After dropping two games to the College of Lake County, the Bryant & Stratton College baseball team returned to Wisconsin Brewing Company Park against the Triton College Trojans. These are some of the highlights from the matchup.
Game 1 | Triton 6, Bryant & Stratton 5
The Bobcats scored the first runs of the game in the bottom of the first, courtesy of a Trojan error, a Thomas Hunt groundout, and a single by Ryan Weed.
Carter Szohr started on the mound for the Bobcats and he held the Trojans scoreless through four innings. But he was pulled after 4⅓ innings of work. He gave up two runs on four hits, but struck out seven batters.
Triton stuck again in the top of the sixth, this time scoring four and taking a 6-3 lead. That lead held until the Bobcats came to the plate in the bottom of the seventh.
Carlos Walta started the inning with a single and Brayden Pleau walked to put two runners on with one out. Sean Reilly brought Walta in with an RBI double and Jedvier Garcia kept things alive after reaching on an error. Quinn Baier came to the plate and on the first pitch he grounded into a 4-6-3 double play that ended that Bobcats rally.

Game 2 | Triton 6, Bryant & Stratton 2
Kolden Hunter started on the bump in game two for Bryant & Stratton College and he recorded 1-2-3 inning to begin the game. The Bobcats took advantage of this and scored first, thanks to a single by Kampa. He brought in Reilly, who also singled. Triton immediately tied the game, but Luis Serrano gave the Bobcats the lead in the second.
Unfortunately for Bryant & Stratton, the Trojan bats found the ball and they scored five runs in the top of the third inning.
The Bobcats threatened in the fifth and sixth innings, but ultimately, the score didn't change, and Triton walked away with two wins.
