Four Bryant & Stratton College basketball players combine for 53 points
EAST PEORIA, Ill. — Four Bryant & Stratton College basketball players, Zaharee Maddox, Malcolm Day, Jabi Alberto and Karter Seawright combined for 53 points as the Bobcats handed he Illinois Central College its fourth loss of the season on Monday night.

Bryant & Stratton held a 33-30 advantage at halftime and held the Cougars, who shot 46.7 percent from the field in the second half, to claim its fourth win of the season. The Bobcats committed 11 turnovers in the first half alone, but Day was the high highlight of the half, pouring in 11 points.
Maddox and Alberto stepped up in the second half and combined for 23 points. The Cougars clawed their way back into the game and were down three points with 6:14 remaining. But an 11-4 run by the Bobcats over the next two minutes pushed the lead back to double digits.
Illinois Central never went away, though and the Bobcats fought to the end and left Illinois with a 74-67 win.
The Bobcats are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Moraine Valley.
