WAUWATOSA, WI (September 11, 2018) – After a having a couple weeks off due to weather, the Bryant & Stratton College men's golf team travled to Verona, WI to tee-off at the Madison Invitational where sophomore, Maxwell Rohlinger, earned a resounding individual victory after shooting a round of 73.
The invitational consisted of eight total teams and all three of the Bobcats golfers, Rohliner, Thomas Bleich, and Tyler Murrie competed.
To start the round, Rohlinger bogied hole one but remained consistent and finished the front nine with a birdie on the ninth hole to put him at one-over par.
Rohlinger began the back nine shooting four straight pars and then proceeded to conclude his round with a score of 73 placing him at the top of the leaderboard individually.
Due to having a total of three golfers, the Bobcats were not eligible to compete as a team. The NJCAA regulations requires a total of four golfers scores to be totaled in order to determine a team score.
