WAUWATOSA, WI (September 13, 2018) - After dropping one to Prairie State College Monday night, the Bryant & Stratton College men's soccer team failed to get back in the win column on Thursday as they came up short in a 0-2 loss at Moraine Valley Community College. That Bobcats now sit at 2-4 overall and 2-4 in region competition.
Struggling to produce offensively, the Bobcats finished the contest with a total of just six shots which included two on goal.
Despite coming up short, head coach Lukas Wilhelmi is confident with the direction the program is moving.
"The group played like a team tonight," Wilhelmi said. "They were disciplined and courageous."
After competing in three games in just six days, the Bobcats have been playing through tough physical conditions.
"Now many of the guys are banged up," Wilhelmi said. "Alex (Alex Diaz-Baez) and Kaying (Kaying Xiong) rolled their ankles and could not finish the game but we still held our ground against an extremely physical and organized opponent."
Goalkeeper, Trevor Russell, allowed two goals while earning six saves.
