Men's Volleyball East Coast recap
MILWAUKEE — The Men’s volleyball team at Bryant & Stratton College traveled east to face more competition this past weekend.
The trip started on a successful note, as the squad recorded three staging wins. However, the trip ended with two losses, coming at the hands of two teams well over which means well over .500. The Monroe College Mustangs (17-4) defeated the Bobcats in five sets after Bryant & Stratton grabbed a 2-1 set lead.
Nigel Litts and Damon Leavitt combined for 32 kills in the loss. Litts also led the Bobcats in kills (13) when they faced Finger Lakes Community College.
Overall, it was a successful trip to the East Coast, and now the Bobcats will prepare for their tri-match against UW-Stevens Point and MSOE on March 15. Bryant & Stratton faced the Pointers in February and will look to even the season series while it looks to take on MSOE for the first time.
The first game of the tri-match is scheduled for at 3 p.m.
