Green Signs Two for 2019 Men's Cross Country

WAUWATOSA, WI - (March 26, 2019) - With the inaugral season approaching this fall, the Bryant & Stratton College's men's cross country program has been in the process of signing highly taletend runners for the 2019 season as Head Coach Casey Green has brought on two more runners to his roster.
Denis Komen out of Eldoret, Kenya officially signed his National Letter of Intent to compete for the Bobcats next fall.
"Denis is a great compliment to the roster that we've begun to build for the Fall," Green said. "He has great speed and endurance, has and incredible focus in his training and is willing and able to handle a lot of work on top of competition. His speed in mid-distances as well as long distances adds great variety to the strengths on our team and he'll serve to be an incredibly important member of the Bobcats for the foreseeable future."
The 6'2" runner attended Marigat High School and where he ran the 5K in 14:57 and 1500m in 3:59.
"I chose BSC in part because I feel the location of the school will be a good fit for me," Komen said. "In addition, after speaking with Coach Green I felt that I was going to be in an environment where I'll be able to focus on my running in addition to achieving my dreams of getting an education. His straight forwardness and communication was a major factor in my decision to be a part of his team."
Jaden Aguino out of Ohkay Owigeh, New Mexico, will be a vital piece to the programs success.
"Jaden is such a great all-around athlete that has so much potential to become a key piece of our team going forward," Green said. "His great baseball pedigree as well adds an extra element of sportsmanship and athleticism that will be an incredible asset in cross country. He's a hard worker, dedicated teammate and an absolutely stellar add to the Bobcats squad. We're excited to be bringing him to Wisconsin."
Out of Santa Fe Indian School, Aguino's posted a 17:10 5K time.
"I chose BSC because they have provided me with the opportunity to compete in the sports that I love at the next level," Aguino said. "When I am given an opportunity, I take full advantage of it. I am excited for the season to start and to see what other goals I can accomplish."
Komen and Aguino will celebrate their committments and continue to preparing for whats looks like an exciting inaugural season.
