WAUWATOSA, WI (April 21, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College softball team (11-21) dropped both games of their double header against the Madison College WolfPack on Saturday afternoon as the WolfPack took game one 12-0 and game two 17-1.
Bryant & Stratton now drops down to 2-8 overall in region play with 14 region games remaining in the season.
GAME ONE VS MADISON COLLEGE (12-0 LOSS)
Failing to put a single-run on the board, the Bobcats saw game one slip away early as the WolfPack led 12-0 forcing the game be called after five-innings of play.
The Bobcats produced just three total hits as a team to the WolfPacks 16 hits.
Mercedes Griesbach (3-8) threw all five innings giving up 12 earned runs.
GAME TWO VS MADISON COLLEGE (17-1 LOSS)
Looking to bounce back in game two, the Bobcats continued to struggle offensively producing just three total hits in the game while allowing Madison to jump out to an 11-0 lead in the top of the first.
Ashley Weimann (Fr.) provided the Bobcats only run of the game on a solo homerun in the bottom of the third.
Kelly Schiller (Fr.) threw four innings giving up 10 earned runs while striking out four.

Bryant & Stratton will begin their final stretch of regular season games as they travel to Cicero, IL to take on the Morton College Panthers on Monday afternoon for a double header.
The first pitch of game one will be thrown at 3:00pm.
The Bobcats will compete in 10 games this week as they look to make a playoff push.
